A stylized peony motif in the center of the plate is surrounded by a garland of leaves which in turn is encircled by 24k gold rosettes. In each item's center is the peony motif hand painted individually. Since its original introduction in 1930 in raspberry, this pattern is now available in black, black sapphire, blue, green, multicolor, raspberry and rust.
